So, I've been playing with Josh for like, 6 years now. Longer if you count all the times we've performed together before there was a "Josh Holmes Band" or anything of that nature...and I'm amazed that still, there are "firsts" that occur while either playing or traveling or whatver... Friday night, we played a show at Sullivans in Michigan City, and so help me God in the middle of our set, the police came in with drug sniffing dogs that just so happened to investigate the stage area. Now, maybe they have had problems in the past with bands or something...but seriously, for the big rock stars we are , the only drugs you might catch us with are the occasional perscriptions we are on because we are a bunch of old bastards with various pains and health problems. At first, Josh thought there was a blind guy at the show with a seeing eye dog. My point is, for as long as we have been doing this now, just when I thought we've seen it all (and we have seen some pretty messed up things and met some rather confusing individuals, believe me), there is always something out there that I am going to inevetibally scratch my head over, and think "what the sh!t was that?" --Jeka

Hey, Jeka! Maybe they were fans dressed up as cops who left their stash by the stage. So many people these days are pretending to be cops! ;D ( If I were blonde I'd probably be serious about that, too!)

That will be the last time I pull the old 'shove cocaine down Josh's pants' trick again.

"KUDOS" to that jeka.... The "seeing eye dog" take on the incident could have held some truth if the gentleman wasnt packin' heat and wearing a police uniform. I do have to say that it was dark in that place. I of course not having my glasses on because i was in "rock star" mode, thought for a split second a dog show was in affect and we providing background music....
Ummm....SweatyBALLS.

Maybe I should have had the dog try to find my cheeseburger value meal.

Actually Greg, on the way home I stopped at Mickey D's at like 3:30 a.m. and ordered, you guessed it, a #2. And for having to wait for like 5 minutes they gave me 2 free apple pies.
All's well that ends well.
