It just keeps getting better... as Josh pointed out...I hit a deer...actually the deer ran into the side of my car so technically it hit me... I had to call the sheriff because it was still alive laying in the middle of the road...and when he got there I had to plead with him not to give me another ticket for my plates being expired. Fortunately he was nice and didn't but guess what I will be doing tomorrow. Oh and to top it all off...I just had my car fixed last week and had it realligned...somehow I think that was money down the toilet. seeing as I have a huge dent between my wheel and my door (which won't open all the way now.) Man it has been a great week.

Well, since the board seems to be dead, I'll review the Taste of Chicago. Thankfully the majority of the rain held off until the guys were mostly done. They even got called back for an encore (which, I don't know if that happens alot, but I've never seen it!). Lily gave away all the free cds they had there, I think, (I'm not sure that's grammatically correct, so I'll have to wait for Josh to correct me. ) and I got about 2 and 1/2 to 2 and 2/3 pages of people to sign up for the e-mail list. All in all it was a great show and I think the crowd really liked the new songs.

Great show at the Rathskeller this past week. It was packed and judging by our email list success, the crowd loved you! Way to go! Hopefully next week we won't melt into little puddles of sweat this time.

Boy it has been a while since I posted.... Thanks Em for filling in So this past Friday, Josh and the boys played at the Dizzy Lizard in Schererville. The place was packed...it was so much fun...The owner loved the band and plan on having the them back in the near future. People were dancing all night long. I have been so busy lately so it was my chance to kick back and enjoy hanging out with everyone and watching Josh and the boys do what they do best. They really sound so great together! Oh and guess what... Josh is coming back to Bookies Every Tuesday starting Aug. 2nd. So you can catch him regularly in NW Indiana regularly on Tuesdays at Bookies and Wednesdays at the Registry. BUT DON'T skip shows like the Dizzy Lizard because you can catch him during the week because you will really miss out on some great performances and really cool venues...

Quick review of the last two Josh shows that he played down in my neck of the woods:
Josh at Rathskeller's 7/28: Not a lot of people showed up, but the ones who did show up enjoyed the show. Even though Josh was feeling under the weather, he still sounded fairly good...except when his cord stopped working or the speakers did the horrible crackling sound. Other than that it was a good show.
Josh and the guys at Kilroy's in B-town 7/29: Opening act was awesome. Then the guys took the stage and sounded great. About halfway through the show Josh's illness decided to attack again and they had to stop playing after the first break. Until then, it was a good show then, even with the small crowd.

Friday night was amazing (so much better than the B-town show the week before). The band had the crowd (of I'd say 30 - 40 people) dancing all night long! Everyone seemed to love the music and the guys were really getting into the spirit of things, thanks to the crowd. Good show, fun venue.

This weekend the guys played two great shows...one in Terre Haute and one in Bloomington. Both shows were pretty packed and the crowd seemed to love Josh and the guys.

This thread seems to need a little action.
Anyway, I was at the show up in Terre Haute at the Verve...
Josh and the full band played two sets, and mixed in plenty of old and new songs, along with some of their covers of choice. The only problem, was that the sound guy changed the levels between shows. He seemingly moved everything up a notch before the second set, and it made parts of some songs a bit tough to hear and feel. It didn't really take much away from any of the songs, except for Devile Went Down to Georgia, as the bass was driven a bit to high and took away from Josh's guitar. It was the first time i got to see a show probably 7+ months, so i havn't heard much of hte new stuff, and the couple i did, weren't as complete as they are now. It all sounds great, and gets me looking forward to the 24th.
Thanks for another great show guys.

I have been looking forward to it for sometime now. If your driving up watch your speed, A friend of mine from here went down to Evansville and got stopped for speeding and then saw alot of I.S.P. afterwards.
